Obituary for Thomas Worth Pitts

Thomas Worth  Pitts
Thomas Worth Pitts, 59, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 7, 2014. He was born April 27, 1954 to the late Robert Worth Pitts and Janice Louise (Howren) Pitts. He married Ra Jean (Miller) Pitts on October 22, 1977. He was a lifelong resident of Carthage, IN.
Tom enjoyed riding his mules, working around his small farm and being around his family and friends. He was a member of the Walnut Ridge Friends Meeting of Carthage. Tom was a former K of P member. He worked many years for AT&T of Indianapolis.
Tom will be greatly missed by his wife, Ra Jean Pitts; a sister Anna Marie Haase of Carthage; 11 nephews, 13 nieces, 9 great-nephews and 15 great-nieces.
Services for Tom will be held Tuesday, February 11 at 11:30AM at Walnut Ridge Meeting in Carthage. Friends are welcome to visit the funeral home from 4-8 PM Monday evening at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown. Burial will be in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Carthage with Pastor Roger Campbell presiding. In lieu of flowers, please give to charity of donor’s choice.
