Anita K. Collis, 56, of Carthage passed away at home on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born in Greenfield, IN on November 21, 1957 to the late Joseph R. and Francis (Tutrow) Evans. She married Myron Collis Sr. on February 15, 1980.
She was an assistant manager at the Family Dollar Store in Greenfield. She spent 13 years of her life in Florida. Anita enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, was an avid race fan and loved being with family and friends.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Myron, 4 sons, Jeremy Evans, Myron Jr., Jeffery, and Joshua Collis, 2 daughters, Diana and Pricilla Collis, 2 brothers, Joseph Jr. and Ed Evans, 3 sisters, Wanda and Lynn Collis and Karen Montgomery and 11 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Trevor Collis.
Services for Anita will be held at Heritage Funeral Care on Monday, April 14 at 1 PM and friends may visit from 4-8PM Sunday evening. Burial will be in Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Arrangements and care entrusted to Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown.
