Obituary for Robert Lynn "Bob" Lines

Robert Lynn Lines, Sr., of Hartford City, passed away September 21, 2014. Robert was born December 28, 1934 in New Castle, Indiana to Everett and Mary Miers Lines.
Robert married Bonnie Nigh Lines on March 5, 1955. He retired from Ford Motor Company. A Henry County native, growing up in Greensboro, he spent his retirement years in Fort Myers, Florida until moving to Hartford City in March 2003.
Robert was a member of Indiana National Guard, Lions Club, Knightstown Masonic Lodge, Murat Shrine, Order of Eastern Star, Former VP and active in Indianapolis UAW #1111. He also was a master Gardner and had his own lawn business. He was a Past Worthy Patron OES, Past Master of Golden Rule #16, NASCAR fan and loved watching IU basketball.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie; two sons, Robert Jr. (Jan) Lines, Kennard, IN and Sam (Kara) Lines of Troy, OH; daughter, Debi (Rusty) Fecek of Greenfield, IN; five grandchildren, Matthew (Brittany) Lopez of Greenfield; Ross (Elizabeth) Lines of Martinsville, IN; Shannon Lines of Elizabethtown, KY and Joe and Elizabeth Lines of Troy, OH; two great-granddaughters, Vivienne Lines of Martinsville and Haley Lopez of Greenfield; two brother, Everett of Port Charlotte, FL; Larry (Cathy) of Dunreith; three sisters, Betty Wisehart of Shirley, IN, Mary (Tom) Murray of Mooreland, and Peggy (Ron) Dick of Greensboro, IN and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles and Harold Lines.
Friends may call from 1-5pm on Saturday, September 27, with a Masonic Service at 5pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Knightstown Christian Church, Hartford City Presbyterian Church or Blackford County Animal Shelter. Bob will be cremated with graveside services to be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown entrusted with arrangements.
