Catherine Diane Jones, 71 passed away on Monday October 3, 2016 in Anderson. She was born on November 5, 1944 to Donald Jones and Maxine (Crume) Jones in Pensacola, FL. Cathy married James Jones on December 18, 1963. She was a certified beautician and taught for 10 years at The House of James Beauty College. She was a member of The Order of Eastern Star and Business Professional Women in Knightstown. She was a recipient of the Working Women’s Award in 1985. She also was a leader of the Cub Scouts & Webelos for years. Cathy loved spending time with her grandchildren and spoiled them with gifts every chance she could. She enjoyed driving a red car and always loved to drive fast!
Cathy will be greatly missed by her husband James; mother Maxine Crail; 3 children, Brian (LaTonya) Jones, Rodney, and Mark Jones; 2 sisters, Sandy (Paul) Brickles and Jeanie (Charlie) McMullen; 3 brothers, Donald and Clark Crail, Roger (Sandy) Crail; 2 granddaughters, Abbi Haines and Alaina (Andrew) Jones and a grandson Clayton Jones.
She was preceded in death by her father Donald Crail.
Services for Cathy will be Saturday October 8, 2016 at 12PM at HERITAGE FUNERAL CARE in Knightstown. Friends may visit from 10AM until time of service. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown with Bryan Peggs to preside. Heritage Funeral Care is honored to serve the Jones Family.
