Obituary for Patricia Kay Richmond

Patricia Kay Richmond, 72, of Carthage, passed away on the morning of Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born November 11, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late Harold and Beatrice (Church) Gibson.

Patricia was a graduate of Carthage High School. She married the love of her life, Harry Richmond, on May 2, 1963. Patricia retired from Western Electric following many years of employment. She had also worked at Walmart in New Castle and Indiana Knitwear in Greenfield. Patricia attended the Living Waters Wesleyan Church in Carthage. She loved riding and caring for her horses.

Those left to cherish Patricia’s memory include her loving husband, Harry L. Richmond; a son, Kevin (wife: Shirley) Richmond of Carthage; two brothers, Terry (wife: Kathy) Gibson of Carthage and Michael (wife: Debbie) Gibson of Carthage and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Charles Stroud officiating.

Memorial contributions may be offered to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown.
