Lawrence “Danny” Daniel Lingenfelter, 57, of Knightstown, passed away on the morning of Monday, September 17, 2018 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born on October 12, 1960 in Indianapolis, a son of Harry and Sandra Lingenfelter.
Danny grew up in Hancock and Henry Counties and graduated from Knightstown High School. He was a hardworking man and had a great career with Knauf Insulation in Shelbyville where he manufactured building insulation. Danny enjoyed fishing, crafts and was good at making bird houses and wind chimes. He loved children, his family and his little dog Jen Jen.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Sandra (husband: Virgil) Copeland; daughter, Danielle (husband: Douglas) Gilman; two grandchildren, Hunter and Korbyn Jackson; siblings, Rodney (wife: Darlene) Lingenfelter, Jerry (wife: Linda) Lingenfelter, Jack (wife: Darlene) Lingenfelter, Charles (wife: Cindy) Lingenfelter, Gayle Roswell, Harry (wife: Laura) Wagoner and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Gene Lingenfelter.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown with David Oaks officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
