Condolences

Condolence From: Sandra Gerlach Collignon
Condolence: Just reading your mothers obit in the Tell City "The Perry County News" Thanks so much for all the information in her article. She being born in 1920 would have been my mother's age (Viola Wright Gerlach) I love Tell City even though the business world has changed since. Not the jobs that were 60 years ago. Glad to know about the Sears porch swings. Love Indiana basketball and the Hoosiers Gym. Your parents are really part of the Great Generation. Treasure the memories.

Condolence: Dear John and all the Mayhill family, Though I never had the pleasure of meeting your mother, after reading all her accomplishments it awes me. Setting the standards for many others, creating and maintaining a portfolio of excellence shows in your strength and that of your family.
My sincere condolences.

Condolence: The Mayhill Family, Tom and Peg were pillars to a small community and that community will forever be grateful for their commitment to us and our little town.... The Mayhill's lived a life with grace, respect, community, dignity and honor. They worked hard to ensure that their employees were taken cared for and respected each and everyone of them. Knightstown has lost a pillar but gain a foundation for the future thanks to their community gifts, business leadership, and friendship to everyone they encountered. I was honored to work for and with Tom and Peg, "THE MAYHILLS" for many years as a kid growing up in Knightstown. They were always grateful for my work, I as well for their kindness..... Both were a shining example of citizenship to their community....

Condolence: Dear Ms. Peggy and family,
I want to say thank you for letting me take care of your Mother. I will remember her smile, her laughter, her stories and her hugs. She always made my day bright and she always asked how I was. I will miss her and remember her every day. I will keep her and the family in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Dear John and the Mayhill Family: One can't help but be impressed by the compelling fullness of the life of Mrs. Mayhill. Sending condolences seem inadequate. However, please accept my sincere ones.
