Victor Lewis  Jackson
Victor Lewis Jackson, 61, of Carthage, IN passed away Thursday July 24, 2014. He was born on May 5, 1953 to Vernon and Joann Jackson in Rushville, IN.
He worked at Roll Coater and served as a Volunteer Fireman for the town of Carthage for 32 years. He enjoyed watching Nascar and collecting memorabilia. He was also a member of the Muskrats Club of Rushville, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father Vernon and his uncle John Jackson.
He is survived by his loving wife Peggy; 2 sons, Victor and Adam Jackson; his favorite aunt Judy Jackson; 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Austin and Jared Jackson, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling for Vic will be Tuesday, July 29, from 4-8pm at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown, with the service on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 11am. Burial will be in Carthage Town Cemetery with Dan Shelton presiding. Please make any donations in lieu of flowers to Heritage Funeral Care to defray funeral costs. Donations may be dropped off at the funeral home in Knightstown or to Pavey’s Grocery store in Carthage.
