Monica J Cloud, 98, of Knightstown, IN passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, IN. She was born in Indianapolis to the late Clayborne D. and Hazel (Dyer) Springer on January 4, 1916. She graduated from New Castle High School Class of 1936. She married Elmore (Pete) Cloud. Monica worked for RCA, Pioneer and MAYELL. She also loved to quilt and send and receive cards. She is survived by a nephew, Dennis Springer of Mooreland; a niece, Dawna Springer of New Castle; cousins, Richard and Pat Dyer, Paul and Jewel Dyer, as well as many friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Monica was preceded in death by 2 brothers Darrel and Norman Springer and a niece, Deborah Springer.
Services for Monica will be Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 1pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL CARE of Knightstown, and calling will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown with Tim Basford presiding. Memorial contributions in Monica’s name may be made to Hancock Regional Hospice of Greenfield, IN.
