Gary L. Brown
Gary L. Brown, 59, of Carthage passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 22, 1955 in Rushville, IN to the late Sherman L. and Madlyn (Kline) Brown. He married Kathy (Spence) Brown on April 5, 1974. Gary liked to ride his motorcycle with his wife; they were members of the Blue River Cruisers. He was an avid reader and enjoyed a good book on the porch in the sunshine with a cup of coffee. He loved to visit the Smokey Mountains and go camping and fishing; he also cherished his time with his granddaughter, Cierra.
Gary will be greatly missed by his loving wife Kathy, his son Cory Brown, his sister Marsha (Jerald) Griffin, a granddaughter Cierra Brown and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Gary will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 2PM at HERITAGE FUNERAL CARE in KNIGHTSTOWN. Friends are welcome to visit Tuesday evening from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown with Doug Stroud presiding. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Cancer Society.
