Obituary for Sally Brown

Sally  Brown
Sara “Sally” Brown slipped away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 95 early Saturday morning October 24, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Greenfield. Sara “Sally” Jane Brown was born on May 3, 1920 to Robert M. and Nelle F. Parker in Knightstown, where she would remain a resident there most of her life. She married her sweetheart William H. Brown on a Sunday evening November 30, 1941. Sally was an active member of the Presbyterian Church in both Knightstown and Okeechobee, FL where she spent several winters. She enjoyed playing golf and was an avid sports enthusiast. Sally also loved playing the piano and singing and being a member of both church choirs. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend known for her spunk.
Sally will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Bill; her son Richard P. Brown; two grandchildren Angalena M. Fuller and Jonathon P. Kenemer, as well as three great-grandsons, Kalvin and Mason Kenemer and Ezra William Fuller, along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 3 children, Donna Jean, William Harold Jr. and Barbara Louise (Kenemer) and her brother Robert Bud Parker Jr.
Services for Sally will be Wednesday October 28, 2015 at 2PM at HERITAGE FUNERAL CARE in Knightstown. Friends may visit from 12PM-2PM on Wednesday prior to service. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown with Pastor Peter Zinn presiding. Memorial contributions may be made in Sally’s honor to Knightstown Beautification Committee.
