Elizabeth Rose Jackson 67, a longtime resident of Knightstown passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in Greenfield, IN. She was born to the late David and Rosemarie (Glaub) Jackson on December 29, 1947 in Knightstown, IN. She was in the graduating class of 1967 at Spiceland High School. “Liz” was a bookkeeper and secretary for Dr. William R. Lambert for several years, then for St. Rose Catholic Church of Knightstown.
She very much enjoyed being a part of her church at St. Rose of Knightstown and she loved her church family. Liz enjoyed reading and writing poetry. She would make her own Christmas, Easter and personal cards and write her own poems on the front of them. Her friends really enjoyed receiving these one of a kind handmade cards.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Steven Jackson.
Liz is survived by her cousin Tom (Mary) Jackson; a brother and sister; friends, Kathryn Waits and Janette Houser.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11 AM in St. Rose Catholic Church 8144 US 40, Knightstown, IN 46148 with visitation at church from 10 AM until Mass. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery with Deacon Russ Woodard to preside. HERITAGE FUNERAL CARE is entrusted with all arrangements.
