Warren G. "Skip"  Archey Jr.
Warren G. Archey Jr. “Skip”, 61 of Connersville, IN passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Richmond, IN. He was born on January 9, 1955 to the late Warren G. Sr. and Lorene (Lambert) Archey in Connersville, IN.
Skip was an amazing musician, song writer and "the self proclaimed Prime Minister of Guitar". He was a left handed man who learned to play a right handed guitar by his brother showing him chords then flipping the guitar across to him. As he liked to say, he played it upside down and backwards but it came out all right. Skip was a musician's musician.
He was a strong man of his faith, Biblical Scholar and was a member of the Higher Praise Worship Center of Connersville.
Skip was a loving fiancé, father, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed by his fiancé Amy Perry, 4 sons; Kenny (Brianna), Warren III, Willie (Ariel) and Teddy Archey, a brother Ralph (Debbie) Cook, nieces and nephews; Connie, Earl, Randy, Beth, Bobby and Brian.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Cook, 2 sisters; Barbara Lackey and Pam Wood, 2 great nephews; Brennen Lindsay and Arie Lackey.
In memory of Skip, a Celebration of Life, with meal following, will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016, 2pm at Higher Praise Worship Center
