Harold M. Moore, 46, of Shirley, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, August 13, 2014, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born November 22, 1967, to the late Howard and Brenda (Butcher) Moore in New Castle, IN. Harold married Peggy (Collis) Moore on July 28, 1989. He worked for the Indiana State Highway Department for many years. He enjoyed hunting and antique collecting. Harold was a loving husband, father and grandpa.
Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Peggy; two sons, Kyle L. and Harold Moore, Jr.; two brothers, twin brother Howard E. (Carla) Moore and Jerry L. Moore; four nieces, Brianna, Victoria, Aubrey and Rachael; a nephew, Justin; three great-nephews, Rylan, Kevin and Landen; two great-nieces, Brooklyn and Natalie; a grandson, Joseph; his lifelong best friend, Brian Collins and good friend, Eric Chance.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Brenda Moore, Grandma and Grandpa Butcher and Uncle Jim and Aunt Judy Butcher.
Services for Harold will be held Monday, August 18 at 1PM, at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown. Friends may visit Sunday evening from 4-8 PM. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield, IN with David Oaks presiding.
In honor of Harold, he personally asked for all to attend in casual attire only.
