Aunt Mamie

I loved going to Indiana to visit my Aunt Mamie and Uncle Jr when he was alive-Mamie always worked hard at her job in the hospital and then when she got home on the farm she worked even harder--she would get out there at her age and cut that grass and she had acres to cut and she did it most of the time by herself when it shouldn't have been that way-they always welcomed you into their home--she had a smile that would lite up any room she entered--it breaks my heart that she spent so much time alone on the farm--shouldn't have been that way--she loved going to Church and she loved God and had so much faith. My Aunt Mamie told me years ago on one of my trips to Indiana and even before Uncle Jr died that they had already had their funerals paid for--it gave them peace in their hearts that they were able to do that.  RIP Aunt Mamie -you are with Uncle Jr and and Aunt Joyce and I know you won't be lonely anymore. You were a wonderful person and I know one day we will meet again.
